Lamp Lighters

The Omega Lamplighters, Incorporated ( #OLL) is a 501c3 youth leadership organization for young men in grades 4th through 12th founded in 2008 by two brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated: Royle King II & Simeon Nelson.  

Our program was founded on the principles of Leadership, Academics, Maturity, and Perseverance. 
Our mission is to empower secondary-aged youth with academic and social skills, community connections, and progressive opportunities necessary to ensure their roles as active,  educated, and responsible citizens. Our aim is to turn good young men into GREAT young men! 

We achieve our aim by: 

1. Pairing young men with a man Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to be mentored
2. Hosting educational and cultural awareness events
3. Teaching civic responsibility
