Greetings,

On behalf of the Officers and Brothers of the Lambda Iota Chapter of the Omega Phi Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.  It is a privilege to serve as the Basileus of the distinguished Lambda Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

On May 14, 1945, eight Omega Men came together to form the Lambda Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated in Columbus, Georgia. Their vision was clear: to create a cadre of Omega-minded leaders dedicated to serving the citizens of the tri-city area (Columbus, Georgia; Phenix City, Alabama; and Fort Benning, Georgia). For over 80-plus years, the Lambda Iota Chapter has consistently provided a high standard of service and leadership in the Columbus area and beyond.  Here in Columbus, Georgia, our chapter stands as a pillar of excellence, rooted in tradition, committed to progress, and driven by the guiding principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

Our mission is clear: to lead with purpose, serve with passion, and uplift with intention. We are committed to being present and engaged, not only within the Brotherhood, but in every corner of the community we are privileged to serve. Our approach is simple but strong: we will serve boldly, build authentically, and lead collaboratively. This means continuing our mentoring efforts, expanding our civic engagement, and ensuring that the next generation sees Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, not just as a name but as a presence, a standard, and a source of inspiration.

I firmly believe that the power of our Chapter lies not just in its leadership, but in the collective spirit of our Brotherhood.  Whether it's through our mandated programs, youth initiatives, scholarship efforts, or community partnerships, the time, talents, commitment, and dedication of our Brothers are the fuel that drives this engine of service. Let us be intentional in our actions, accountable in our work, and unified in our Brotherhood.
